Our house is always full of Lady Bugs and Japanese beetles (I really don’t like the beetles, they really do bite and smell so bad!) but they are also so much fun to photograph.  I have a beautiful collection of them that I use for composites and just really beautiful photos of flowers with them on the flowers.  So being a Newborn photographer I have a few cute little outfits hanging around my studio and I came across this ladybug outfit the other day that I completely forgot that I had!! Sweet and hand knitted! So I just had to use it in my next session!!

Little Smooshy face just looks so cute and happy in the little Ladybug outfit!!

I found another outfit while I was working (Minnie Mouse!) I didn’t really like the hat that was with it, didn’t look too cute, but the skirt was just sweet with the little tail and everything! Smooshy had a good time wearing it too!! HA HA!! 😉

So then I decided that Sweet Little Smooshy needed to be a beautiful butterfly! This idea needs a bit of refining ha ha! BUT still so cute! Such a cute little thinker Smooshy is.

I have had a wonderful time in the studio these past few weeks and really look forward to photographing your new little bundle of joy!! <3 <3
